Adventures in Acting: Storytime Edition for grades 2–6 is a four-day immersive theater experience where students bring engaging scripts and classic tales to life through expressive reading and performance.

 

In this one hour per day program, students strengthen reading fluency, comprehension, vocal expression, collaboration, and stage presence as they analyze character traits, practice purposeful movement, incorporate simple props and sound effects, and rehearse as a team. Older students dive deeper into dialogue delivery, character motivation, and audience engagement while building confidence in public speaking and creative interpretation.

 

The week culminates in a final live performance, giving students the opportunity to shine on stage and celebrate their growth as expressive, confident readers and performers.
