About Me

Over the past decade, my teaching journey has been marked by a deep commitment to shaping young minds in both middle and high school settings. With a specialized focus on science education, I have dedicated ten years to imparting knowledge and fostering a love for learning in the subjects of middles grades science, biology, environmental science, and Exceptional Student Education (ESE). My teaching philosophy revolves around cultivating critical thinking skills, encouraging creativity, and instilling a love for lifelong learning.

My love of tutoring stems from the ability to make a meaningful impact on individual learners.  Witnessing the moment when a student grasps a challenging concept or experiences that "aha" moment is incredibly rewarding! Tutoring provides an opportunity to tailor my teaching methods to the specific needs and learning styles of each student, fostering a personalized and effective learning experience. I am passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore their curiosity, and build confidence in their abilities.
