Design Your Dream Trip is a four-day summer enrichment program for grades 2–6 that blends research, writing, and technology as students plan and promote their ultimate vacation destination.

In this one hour per day experience, students learn how to conduct age-appropriate research, take organized notes, identify key details, and transform information into a persuasive travel brochure or digital flyer. Younger students focus on identifying main ideas and writing clear informative sentences, while older students develop stronger explanatory and opinion-based writing supported by evidence.

Throughout the week, students strengthen digital literacy, organization, creativity, and presentation skills. The program culminates with students confidently presenting their dream trip to peers, showcasing their research, persuasive writing, and thoughtful design.
