Donna Kargel

Donna Kargel is a seasoned academic success coach and founder of Lotus Coaching, bringing over 25 years of experience in education leadership, child development, resilience science, and motivational theory to her work. She holds degrees in psychology and education, is certified in school leadership, conscious discipline, and youth resilience coaching, and has led and trained educators at regional levels. Donna’s approach is grounded in practical tools and emotional insight designed to help students take ownership of their learning, build confidence, and thrive—not just academically but personally as well. She works with families and learners from elementary age through college, supporting them with strategic goal setting, assessment interpretation, and personalized plans that honor each student’s strengths and challenges. Donna also founded Community Thrive, a nonprofit supporting disadvantaged youth, and her thoughtful coaching helps students build independence, resilience, and a clear path forward in school and life.
