Florida Water Warriors Boat Trip

Information Regarding the Boat Tour:

Students and chaperones will be on the boat for the entire 90 minutes (we do not get off of the boat during the tour), where we will:

• Scout for local wildlife using binoculars (including birds, dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, fish, etc!)

• Participate in Community Citizen Science by collecting water quality data using science tools. All water data collected is uploaded into NOAA’s Plankton Monitoring Network (temperature, pH, salinity, weather, plankton, wildlife observations)

• Discuss the local estuary’s ecology and different ways that humans can protect the waterways!
