Gary Van Auken

Gary Van Auken brings more than 15 years of experience in education, serving as an elementary, middle school, special education, math, ELA, and physical education teacher, as well as an athletic director and coach. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and certifications in Elementary Education K–6, Physical Education K–12, Math K–12, ELA K–12, and Exceptional Student Education K–12. Gary was proudly named Teacher of the Year in 2022 for his dedication to his students and school community. As a teacher, mentor, and coach, he is passionate about building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and preparing students for success both inside and outside the classroom.
