Melissa Dirlam

Melissa is an experienced educator and academic success professional with a strong background in early learning, instructional coaching, and data driven support. She currently serves as a Senior Professional Learning Consultant with Waterford.org, where she works closely with schools and educators to strengthen early literacy and ensure students are prepared for success in kindergarten and beyond. Melissa previously spent over 15 years as a classroom teacher with Volusia County Schools, giving her deep insight into student needs and effective instructional practices. With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and expertise in educational leadership and technology integration, she brings a thoughtful, student centered approach that aligns well with Academic Oasis’s mission to support confident, successful learners.
