Symmetry Studio

Program Overview
June 8th - June 11th
Grades K - 1
Mon - Thurs 11:00am - 2:30pm

Symmetry Studio is a four-day K–1 summer program that introduces young learners to the exciting world of symmetry through hands on art, math, and creative design.
In this one hour per day experience, students explore symmetry in butterflies, animal faces, shapes, blocks, and paper folding while building fine motor skills, visual spatial awareness, and math vocabulary in a joyful and developmentally appropriate setting. Through painting, building, folding, and creating, children learn how matching sides work together to form balanced designs, helping them see that math and art beautifully connect.
By the end of the week, students proudly share their symmetrical creations and confidently explain how and why their designs match.
