Ysa Boothman

Ms. Ysa brings more than 16 years of performing arts experience and a lifelong love of dance, theater, and creativity to Academic Oasis. She was a former assistant director with Flagler Performing Arts Academy, a dance teacher at The Dance Method, and a contracted choreographer for children’s and adult productions at The Flagler Playhouse.
 

Her experience includes teaching dance to students ranging from age three through adulthood, choreographing productions, directing performers, planning classes, building sets, and helping coordinate special events. As a former homeschool student herself, Ms. Ysa understands and values the creativity, flexibility, and individualized learning that make the homeschool community so special.
 

Ms. Ysa is known for her warm smile, caring nature, and ability to remain calm and encouraging in any situation. She loves helping students build confidence, express themselves, and discover the joy of performing in a welcoming and supportive environment.
